Gi3F

Gi3F

The Earth actually had such a promising beginning: “the light and space, clouds and sound waves, sunspots and a cat, mountains and grains of dust, small airplanes, even a few holidays …” But now it has been predicted that the planet will disappear in 3.5 billion years. Or perhaps already in 3.5 hours? Or no, a mistake: in 40 minutes! Everything is happening so fast. Humanity is saying goodbye. Leaving the planet after having largely destroyed it. In small capsules, they drift away from it. “Does anyone still want to make a wish?” the Earth asks.

The Nestroy Prize-winning author Kiki Miru Miroslava Svolikova discovered theatre during her art studies through various calls for submissions. In her play “Gi3F”, God is not an old white man, but three women. Together, they look back at the Earth, observing a world they do not know whether its end has already arrived. They tell stories so that something exists and so that something will have existed. “Gi3F” is a fast-paced, intelligent and humorous exploration of humanity’s great questions.
