Stably Exploded
Stably Exploded is a radio play project situated between material poetry, apocalyptic landscapes, and visions of space exploration.
Across three trilogies, texts and sound samples intertwine to create dense sonic environments: “Material Studies” describes substances as linguistic states, while “Places That Invite Dreaming” explores transitional spaces of stagnation, reuse, and circulation through locations such as a firewater reservoir, landfill site, and wastewater treatment plant. The story of “Euli Uhurin”, a tawny owl playing the theremin while training for weightlessness, expands the project into a uniquely imaginative futuristic dimension.
The result is a work that exists between language, sound, and sampling, moving within the tension between technology, the body, and dreams.
